Our story began in 2020 when all of the world was hit by corona pandemic. Back then we were just some friends coordinating events for another person . But due to the pandemic that hit the world it became difficult for us to make any progress. That's when pravishya was put together and a new team was put forward to conquer new markets.
Today we have a motto and a clear plan of doing this and know how to work on our products and who our potential customers are.
The word pravishya means a large state or a province or an empire and we thought we will build our empire under that name itself , something that states we are big by the name itself.
Our mission is our tagline itself which is “ Innovate and Incubate “ .Our one wing “ To Innovate ” concentrates on bringing our small ideas to life and to the markets and to the people who need that the most. Our other wing “ To Incubate “ handles events like hackathons , entrepreneurship summits & space fair to bring new sensible ideas from the minds of our student community to life.
Our products include protective shields to prevent the spread of coronavirus which come in different forms like PPE kits , face shields , UV Sanitizers , Transparent shields for schools , offices and special kits to be used in buses , taxis and autos.
Unlike other hackathons our hackathon is open to students from technical as well as non technical backgrounds. Here we are trying to encourage innovative ideas that can make an impact in our society and hence instead of giving specific problem statements we list domains or areas in which students can work on. By this we get an opportunity to see everything around us in another person’s perspective and the solution to that particular problem. In our non technical areas we focus on areas like different ways of content creation , marketing , advertising etc. To create a change towards the way hackathons are usually conducted , we are collaborating with different startups and IT companies and government agencies to be a part of the event and share their views on different areas that students must be aware of and also to create internship and job opportunities for the participants. Being a competition we are offering a 7 Day trip to NASA for the national finals winners and a trip to ISRO for all the pre hackathon winners.Other prizes includes DSLRs , tablets , mobile phones , headsets , tshirts etc.
Promoting entrepreneurship is the main aim of our E Summits . We are trying to achieve this aim by bringing in students , investors , successful startups and government agencies into this common platform where everyone can share their ideas and views on different aspects of different emerging technologies. For students who don't follow the path of entrepreneurship we will be arranging a job fair along with the E Summits which adds more quality and color to the event.
SpaceFair is completely meant for school students from standard 4 to 10 where students are asked to prepare models , paintings ,cartoons or anything thay can come up regarding a specific theme that will be reveled prior to the event. There will be proper judging criterion for each type of submission and a ranklist will be published by the end of the day which decides the winners of the event . As a part of our space fair our participants will get to meet and spend the day with IITians or a Scientist. Prizes for the students include trip to ISRO , IITs , bags , water bottle , goodies , gift hampers etc.
